Wie wil mij helpen.( Het geld wordt door mij rechtstreeks naar universiteit overgemaakt, niet naar een privé persoon.) Deze man heeft in Kenia al heel veel kinderen en vrouwen geholpen. Voornamelijk in de sloppenwijk Mathare. Nu hoop ik dat iemand hem kan helpen. Hij krijgt de mogelijkheid om een jaar opleiding te doen om leraar te worden. Hij leidt op dit moment een schooltje in de sloppenwijk waar kinderen les en eten krijgen. De leraren zijn, door gebrek aan geld niet opgeleid. Als deze man de opleiding kan volgen, kan hij daarna alle andere leraren trainen. En zo het onderwijs ter plaatse verbeteren.

My name is Benard Ochieng’ Nyachieo, I was born and raised in abject poverty in Rural Kenya.
Immediately after my high school, I left rural Kenya to Nairobi, the capital city and ended up in a Nairobi
slum.
In a Nairobislum of Mathare Valley , I met poorer people and families than we were and from there resolved
that I will live to help poor people with what I have .
My passion is education as the only tool I believe we can use to make the world a better place, and over the
years I have worked towards helping poor children in Mathare valley get education or learning support. I
have taught, seek sponsorships, raise school supplies and mobilize resources for community based
educational projects.
After doing this for more than a decade I got an opportunity to get a university degree through work study
program, university grant and scholarships and support of friends.
Today, I am waiting for graduation in September having cleared a Bsc. Applied Computer Technology with
a concentration in software Engineering. My goal is not only to teach ICT education in Kenyan Technical
Colleges but to take it back to the slums and make a greater impact by teaching slum teachers how to teach
and if possible empower slums through ICT learning opportunities or education among other projects that
I will find important to empower slum people.
I need to join Kenya Technical Trainers College located in Gigiri Kenya , next to the United Nations to do
advanced Diploma in Technical Teacher Education as from next month, I need help with a total of Kenya
shillings one hundred and twenty one thousand eight hundred (121,800) for the whole program which is
charged KES 34000 for tuition , and KES 6600 for accommodation.
It is my humble request to any person of good will to help me get this training to become a teacher to help
me be a blessings to Kenyan students as an ICT teacher and my dream to teach slum teachers to become
ICT teachers to slum children and more
