Help Henrietta Keep The Lights On At Home

Hello, my name is Henrietta and I live in Kentucky. I am physically disabled and in a power wheelchair. My husband is also disabled. Our electric bill has skyrocketed because of problems with our heat pump and the past due amount on the electric bill is $2011.21 and the electric company is threatening to disconnect the electric. I have made payments on the bill but the bill doesn't go down because my husband has breathing issues and must use the emergency air conditioning. This keeps the bill up and I cannot pay it off. I am asking for more than the amount of the electric bill to try and get a little extra to pay someone to fix the heat pump for us. The disconnect notice is set for 7/22, but I am getting a medical 30-day extension but have the pay the entirety of the bill at the next billing due date. I have never asked for any help before. I have always managed to get the bills paid, but now I need help desperately. Getting the electric bill paid will keep the lights on, keep my powered wheelchair going, and keep my husband's oxygen machine going. Thank you so much for any and all help. Henrietta Handy
