Help Hendricks Rebuild Home

Needing a little help from our friends! We have had several people ask about how they can help or what they can do in our time of loss and need.  We have been getting help where we can and waiting to hear from insurance and FEMA before taking any drastic measures to reach out but here we are.  As you all know we are not the type of people to ask for help or charity which is making this decision to try and raise money for our needs that much harder.  We are considering ourselves pretty lucky compared to a lot of families dealing with the disaster left behind by hurricane Florence.  Still we have lost half the contents of our home and our entire garage due to contaminated flood waters.  Unfortunately due to the contaminated water, not much if anything is salvageable.  We do do not have flood insurance because we were not in a flood zone and were not required to carry flood insurance.  We are not eligible for help with flooding from our home insurance policy and what little we will be granted by FEMA isn’t even going to cover the costs of materials to rebuild the walls and flooring of our home.  We need help.  There is just no way around it.  We are currently a one income family and barely get by as it is.  There is no way we will be able to afford to replace all off our belongings, kids toys, furniture, instruments, appliances, tools, you name it.  To make matters worse we have lost our tie dye equipment and inventory which is something we have worked so hard over the years to build up.  Tie dye is our passion and was a small source of income for our family.  Without that source of income it will be even harder for us to work towards rebuilding our home and our lives.  Fortunately the second level of our home was not destroyed.  We are lucky to have beds to sleep in once our home is livable again!  For everything else we are asking for help.  We don’t have any other options at this point.  If you can spare it or can share, we would be forever grateful!  Thank you in advance to anyone willing to donate and share to help us rebuild and replace some of our belongings. We realize so many are in need at this time.  Our decision to ask for help did not come easily but we have nothing else to lose and everything to gain with a little help from our friends and family!
