Help Helen Fight Cancer Without Financial Distress

Hi my name is Eric and I am fundraising for my friend Helen de Cruz, who is an amazing philosopher and a lovely human being. Helen is fighting an advanced form of cancer. It is beatable but requires aggressive, ongoing treatment. She has health insurance and some savings, but the treatments are still very expensive. Not everything is covered, alas, including some parts of the surgeries, PET scans, and other treatments, and the amounts for these are running in the thousands of dollars. Some necessary treatments, such as a weekly nurse home visit, are not covered by her insurance plan at all. So, the unsettling fact is she is running through her savings at enormous speed; and this is causing a lot of anxiety on top of the pain, discomfort and uncertainty of the treatment. Help me remove Helen's financial anxiety so she can focus on beating cancer.
