Sadly, Helen passed on the 15th September. There are not words to express how much she will be missed. She was an amazing mother and wife and loyal friend. She lives on in her beautiful children and all donations will now be used for her 7 year old twin boys to help keep their lives full of experiences, clubs and treats. Helen would love the idea her boys could continue to follow their various interests. Many thanks for your support.

UPDATE: Helen's received the news her chemotherapy isn't working to try and relieve pain and shrink the tumour so she can spend some more time with her family. Now it's a waiting game to see if she can be accepted onto any trials. She is at home with lots of pain relief and trying to fill her days creating special memories with her family.

Helen is a mum (a wonderful mum) to five of her own beautiful children, and 1 beautiful step daughter. Her eldest children live locally to her and she lives with her husband, youngest daughter and her 6 year old twin boys. Helen is also a proud grandma to two young grandsons and 1 Granddaughter. Helen's family mean absolutely everything to her and she to them. Helen has also recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. (Liver mets) It is terminal. She will receive chemo to manage the pain and try and give her as much time with her precious family as possible.

Helen is a fighter, she is the glue which holds her family together. She had breast cancer in 2014 and fought her way through chemo and various operations always with a ready smile and the will to support those around her. She channels negativity into positivity, she has set up various breast cancer support groups and provided so many people with strength and kindness in their hour of need.

When Helen had the last of her operations after her breast cancer, she booked a once in a lifetime holiday to Florida, since her diagnosis she has been forced to cancel the holiday. Her boys weren't upset when she told them about the holiday, they just want their mummy better.

The aim of this fundraising is to help ease the financial burden which comes with a terminal illness. Helen's husband is self-employed, we can help him to take days off to spend with Helen and the family, we can give Helen the opportunity to spend quality time with her family and create memories they will treasure.

Helen is already in substantial pain and will have to endure endless bouts of chemo. She has simple wishes we can help to fulfil. She wants to take her family out for meals, she wants to not have to say no to her 6 year olds when they want to go to the cinema or they want to continue their school clubs. She'd absolutely love to go away for a weekend with her husband, children and grandchildren. It would also ease Helen's mind if there was some money left over for her children at a later date. It isn't a big ask; let's make it happen.

Thank you for supporting such a wonderful family.

 Love Carla xx
