Help Heidi Gillette
Donation protected
One of our classmate's wife had a stroke. Dave Gillette has been dealing with the failed healthcare system and the expense associated with that struggle. His wife, Heidi had a stroke and they are both dealing with the financial struggle that this brings. She is doing better, but the reality of this hardship is real for all of us at one point. Let's face it....We should all donate money to Heidi just because she married Dave.... Seriously.
From Dave on our reunion page:
"Okay, kind of a moral dilemma going on here. Since my wife had her stroke 6 months ago, insurance doesn't cover everything as you all know. Ambulance rides, Dr's visits, MRI's and a shit load of other bills. I am new to all of this "Go Fund Me", not really quite sure what it is but do you just get on their website and start it and people give you money and helps you out with your bills, since my wife can't work and is disabled or what? Just trying to figure it out or do I just suck it up like people have done for years and pay off as many hospital bills as I can. Let me know what this website is all about and thanks, class of '81!"
So what I am asking is to help Heidi heal with the help of all of us. We all come together as need be... But as Iowan's and Wahawk's we are the shit when it comes to stepping up to the plate. Go to Gillette's FB page and watch her walking after her extensive rehab treatments. Brought tears to my eyes. I'll post the link to give. Give and share. For Heidi.
