Help Heartstone Veganic Sanctuary

Hi, my name is Ben. I felt compelled to start up this fundraiser for Heartstone, after seeing some of their posts on social media asking for urgent help with the feeding and basic needs of the resident animal folk.

Heartstone, is a vegan organic animal sanctuary, based in Co. Sligo, Ireland (the first of its kind in the country!), and is run solely by Nia. Though short, and longer term opportunities for volunteers are available, and are encouraged, unfortunately, they (volunteers) are few and far between. So Nia often has to manage the daily workload alone at the farm, up to 18 hours a day.

 

I greatly admire this lady's vision, and what she strives to achieve with Heartstone, and I'm hoping to raise urgent, and absolutely vital funds in order to help assist this vision going forward, by embarking on another One Million Step Challenge!

I was so inspired to get going, that I actually began this last Tuesday, and I've been so busy / disorganised, that it's taken this long to let others know about it!

The last step challenge I took part in, was completed over a three month period, and for now, while I gather my wits about me, that will remain - the final day being 26th January 2022 ending at 23.59. 

 

With the weather becoming less hospitable over the coming weeks, there will be some difficult moments ahead! But I am determined to do this for them. I hope you can help me to help them - they deserve it!
