Hey there. My name is Neisa Murray, and together with my husband Jonathan, we are walking a journey no parent ever imagines — the journey of healing after pregnancy and infant loss.
Over the years, we’ve experienced multiple miscarriages, and in January 2023, we lost our baby boy Jesiah to stillbirth. That loss turned our world upside down. Last year, 2024, I nearly lost my life due to an ectopic pregnancy. By the grace of God, I trusted my instincts and went to the ER just in time.
I share this not to dwell in pain — but because so many families suffer in silence. And we believe no one should have to heal alone.
That’s why we created Hearts & Halos — a movement built from our grief, love, and the hope of helping others. In March 2025, we hosted our first free community event, Painting Through Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness, right here in Minden, Louisiana.
At the heart of the event was a pre-designed canvas. Every parent and loved one was invited to write their baby’s name and a message — then paint it as a keepsake they could cherish forever. It was more than an art project — it was a moment of healing. We also included guided journal activities, affirmations, and spiritual support.
Now, we’re ready to take the next step — and that’s where I need your help.
Jonathan and I are raising $2,000 to officially register Hearts & Halos as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so we can:
- Create and ship Healing Boxes to grieving families
- Host more creative healing events and workshops
- Partner with local hospitals, counselors, and churches
- Offer real-time and long-term support to those experiencing loss
