Help Heal Maddy
Our little family of four is in a situation that we never would expected to be. Our 11 year old daughter Madison who is already a heart patient and pacemaker dependent is on life support after suffering multiple cardiac arrests and needed to be revived multiple times through CPR and paddles. Maddy has previously undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes and went into acid ketosis which caused her major organs to shut down. The incredible team of Drs and nurses saved her life now we need her to recover. We are in for an incredibly long road ahead, Maddy has a fighting chance but it will take months. In the meantime we are newly relocated to Portland away from all family, it is just us. With our sweet 7 year old whom isn’t allowed in the ICU David has to take time off work we have no options we will need to stay afloat and have to put our pride aside and for the first time ever ask for help. We are living in the hospital and need to have food to keep us going as well as maintaining our home and everyday bills for our Willow and Maddy. We are forced to take things 1 day at a time and are trying to not fall off the lifeboat. Aside from financial we need prayers and positive thoughts sent for Maddy to recover.
We have had many, many kind people ask if there were specific items our family needed or would want sent to us while displaced from our home and in Seattle.
