The bravest woman I know is battling stage four cancer. Cindy DeSantis was diagnosed December 19/2017 with stage four cancer.
Her battle with health was far longer than that as doctors diagnosised her health problems with typical afflictions such as glutton intolerance and a range of other suggested causes of her illness for several months. Since finally being diagnosed she is braving very slow public health care because of lack of specialists and overwhelming amount of patients that also need similar treatment.
She has undergone a major surgery to remove an afflicted vertebra and a significant tumour near her spine and shoulders. This procedure left her with a rod in her spine and neck that may limit normal neck movements and has a long recovery to adapt to this sever change in her body.
She is handling her battle like a true warrior. She is going to have to face radiation and chemotherapy. Her family is feeling very optimistic for a full recovery. Cancer medication is very expensive and the medical leave she receives from work will not cover the cost of pills, treatments and potential travel she may need to beat this.
I know Cindy is a very important person in so many lives and several of you wish to contribute to aliviate some of the financial burden that comes with this type of illness. I encourage you all to be generous and help this hero in a time of need!
Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️
