Help Hassan Rebuild His Life After Release

Donation protected
We are raising funds for our son, Hassan Stewart, who was recently released from jail after serving his time and paying his debt to society.

What should have been a second chance has turned into a daily struggle for basic survival.

Despite doing everything asked of him, there are no available beds for Hassan anywhere. Shelters are full, programs are backed up, and he has been denied release to family—even though we are ready and willing to support him. As a result, he is currently forced to sleep outside in a tent, alone, with no family nearby and no stable resources.

We’ve done everything we can from afar to help him stay warm—cold-weather gear, clothing, and essentials—but there are still critical needs we cannot meet on our own.

What Hassan Needs Right Now

We are trying to raise money to help cover immediate survival and reentry needs, including:
• A solar-powered battery bank
To safely power a heated sleeping bag, charge his phone, and stay connected for job applications, probation requirements, and emergencies.
• Basic transportation (gas scooter or e-bike)
Without transportation, Hassan cannot realistically search for work, attend required appointments, or access services. Public transportation is unreliable and often inaccessible from where he is forced to stay.
• Basic reentry stability
This small amount gives him a fighting chance to move forward instead of being trapped in survival mode.

Why This Matters

Reentry is hard under the best circumstances. Doing it alone, outdoors, without family, transportation, or stable shelter makes it exponentially harder—and increases the risk of failure for anyone.

Hassan is trying. He wants to work. He wants to rebuild his life. But no one should be expected to succeed while sleeping outside in the cold with no way to get to a job interview or charge a phone.

This fundraiser isn’t about luxury—it’s about dignity, safety, and opportunity.

How You Can Help

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it will go directly toward helping Hassan survive this moment and take steps toward stability. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much.

Thank you for taking the time to read Hassan’s story and for believing that people deserve a real second chance—not just words, but support.

With gratitude,
David and Patricia
