Support Haris's important research on Kashmir

My name is Haris, and I am a Ph.D. student from Indian-administered Kashmir, currently studying at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands (https://www.iss.nl/en/people/haris-zargar). ​I am in the second year of my doctoral research in Development Studies, specifically looking at the socio-political movements linked to the historic land reforms in the disputed Kashmir valley. To pursue this research, I have received a competitive scholarship that covers the four-year tuition as well as other necessary costs. I cover my living expenses by doing a variety of jobs, including freelance writing (https://www.newframe.com/writer/haris-zargar/) and other research projects, since I do not receive any further financial assistance. Despite the work, I continue to face some financial shortfall that may impact my Ph.D. trajectory. This is especially, exacerbated by the personal security concerns raised by the sensitive (and important) nature of my writings/research. I'm aiming to raise these much-needed funds for the upcoming two academic years in order to continue my studies. These funds, I believe, will be critical to my personal well-being and career. ​I am a hardworking and committed student who gained previous educational degrees (in Kashmir and the UK) through scholarships, which is especially noteworthy given that I come from a lower-middle-class background.
