Help Hammy, Mary & Rebecca

Hello. Your donation will help Rebecca provide a safer enclosure for Hammy and Mary,(the bear fighting pigs!) And it will offset the financial burden of travel for her personal medical treatments.
As you may have seen in some viral news videos, a pair of beloved family pigs, who Rebecca rescued in 2020 were bombarded by a bear in their pen! They were not harmed, but things could have ended much worse.
Rebecca has been out of an income since December, because she is taking care of her mother full-time. She also struggles with health issues as well. Rebecca has an unspecified b cell lymphoma and rare blood disorders. She travels back and forth to Uconn for the treatments she needs. Even still, she takes care of everyone else, but will never ask for help for herself.
The pigs need a few things to help keep them safe such as an electrical fence or other barriers to keep the pigs in, and uninvited guests out. We also learned recently that bears and pigs share a hormone (?) And that it would be best if we could spay Mary, but that is also costly and she would need and additional housing setup to isolate while she heals.
