Help Halifax Magpies get to IMART 2022

Hi my name is Jason Brian and I’m currently director of rugby at Halifax RUFC. I am on behalf of the club currently fundraising and supporting our mixed ability team the Halifax Magpies get to Ireland to represent the district in IMART 2022 which is set to take place 5-11 June 2022 in Cork Ireland. Not only is your support vital this will also be the experience of a lifetime for all the players involved who face challenges every day most people just don’t understand. Halifax RUFC is proud to have a mixed ability team and we use rugby as a way of making a difference to these people and their families every day lives. The majority have physical and mental learning difficulties and pictured on the IMART website is our very own Sam Beevers who is a stalwart of this team and typifies the enjoyment they all have in feeling part of this club.

Our target is ambitious and all monies raised will be used towards travel, accommodation, equipment and insurance for around 30 players of mixed ability and able bodied facilitators, carers and support staff.
