Help Griffi keep her home!

Hello Everyone!

This Go fund Me page has been set up on behalf of Griffi's parents who are facing a bit of a dilemma; they have been given the option to either purchase the home they're renting or they must move so the current owner can list the property for sale. Herein lies the problem: as most you are aware, home purchases and rentals are scarce in today's explosive housing market, and looking for a rental property that will accept birds as lively as Griffi can be challenging even in a market that is far less competitive. As many of you are also aware these birds do not readily adapt to changes in their environment and become stressed to the point of plucking out all their feathers or self-mutilating. For those of you familiar with Griffi's back story, you know that the change in her previous environment led to the plucking of her feathers. Caleb and Alana have worked arduously and at great length to achieve the progress with Griffi they have, and are greatly concerned that moving Griffi again could lead to a setback. If enough funds can be raised to assist in helping Griffi's parents buy their place, the hope is to avoid further traumatizing Griffi. Please know that all of your continued support- be it financial, emotional, sending toys, or sending love- means the world to Griffi and her parents.
