Help Grandma Bella Get a New Wall

I reached out two years ago for help with my mom's roof damage, plagued with water leaks. With your help, we fixed her roof. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!

Also, I mentioned that the next phase would be fixing the wall that was starting to collapse from the water damage. Covid gave us a bunch of setbacks, and now we are looking to move forward and get her wall fixed.

1. Roof Fixed! (Phase1)

I chose to get the roof sealed instead of building a new one. A new roof was going to cost $25,000 + $30,000.

The work I have done has been working out very well. No leaks! My mom's mental health is so much better too!

 

2. Fix Wall Damaged by Water Leak (Phase 2)

Yes, that is clear duct tape holding the pieces together. I repainted the wall so it would hide some of the damage. 

I talked with several contractors, and the consensus is that the wall needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. There is a possibility that the supporting beam could be rotted, and we will not know until the contractors dive into the project.
