Help Grams Replace her Hearing Aids
On May 8th Gramma (Laurie Rockel) was in an awful accident. She flipped into a ditch trying to avoid a bear and had to be cut out of her vehicle. We are so lucky that the only injury she suffered was bruises and a torn ligament in her shoulder!
Unfortunately the financial burden of the accident is something she has had to worry about since getting out of the hospital. Her vehicle was totalled and the pressure from the air bags removed her hearing aids, they were never recovered. She had just paid these off and ICBC is refusing to cover them.
Gramma is one of the most selfless people I have ever met.She has always done everything she could for everybody she has ever known. Throughout this she continues to say atleast shes alive to deal with the financial problems. I think it would be great if we could give back and take some of the pressure off of her.
Every dollar raised will go straight towards purchasing her new hearing aids. For anyone who knows her personally you all know how important these are ;)
