Hi everyone I’m Gracie-Leigh’s mam, Gracie-Leigh was born in July 2021. At 12 weeks old little Gracie was diagnosed with West Syndrome Epilepsy having multiple seizures everyday in clusters of 50 or more in such short lengths of time. Our Gracie was a little fighter and got through this completely seizure free unmedicated, Gracie had been signed off from neurology in November 2024 as no longer having epilepsy. Our Gracie was then diagnosed with ASD-Autism in February 2025, now our little Gracie is unfortunately back in hospital with complete silent seizures this happened on Saturday 18th October. We are getting multiple tests being done at the moment to see what the cause of this is. Most children with epilepsy can grow out of it and we thought Gracie had now unfortunately she hasn’t and it’s back in a complete new form. She is in hospital as we speak getting the care and support she needs trying to get all the answers we can to why this has happened 3 years later completely out the blue. These seizures are wearing Gracie clean out, she isn’t her self at all. She has had 3 big ones since yesterday dinner time and Gracie is normally her happy self and it’s so hard seeing her like this. We are hoping to raise some money for Gracie before she returns home from hospital when that may be, she is in need of different equipment to meet her needs correctly and safely. Listing below is the stuff we are desperately trying to get, hospitals unfortunately don’t give these things out.

Gracie-Leigh is in need of a - Children's High Sensitivity Epilepsy Alarm for when she is asleep so we can be notified if she is having a seizure as these are silent and very dangerous. We are also in desperate need of an Epilepsy Alarm Wrist Band and a special needs pushchair for when we are out and about with Gracie. Never to this day we thought we would be back here but here we are unfortunately but trying to get all the right correct equipment for when Gracie eventually returns home.
