Help Gracelynns fight against MRT
Donation protected
On August 16th our 6 month old little girl was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer called Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor or MRT. There’s only approx 50 cases a year of this aggressive tumor. Our sweet girl has already been through multiple scans and sedations, biopsy, blood transfusions, and surgery to have a port and a gtube placed. Because the tumor is growing from a region in her neck she is having trouble with the muscles in her jaw performing correctly so she relies on feedings through her stomach tube now for the majority. She will be receiving a total of 40 weeks of chemo as well as hopeful removal surgery in 3 months. Her life consists of weekly blood draws, appointments and off and on hospital stays when fevers spike, thus resulting in me her mother being away from the family in our home which consists of her two older sisters, dad and fur siblings. We are relying soley on her fathers income but when we need to be admitted to the hospital he is stuck taking multiple unpaid days off work a month to take care of the house and our other children and we are barely making it by. Help is limited as we moved across the country from California a year and a half ago leaving everyone we know behind. Any and all help is greatly appreciated as we support Grace in her fight to kick this Cancers A**. Thank you and God Bless.
