Help 12 yr old Sammy Lee's family

This is a very sad story of a 12yr old, named Sam, in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tonight, Sam was crossing the street and killed by a car fleeing the police during a chase. Sam's family lives down the street from my mother and stepfather. Layton, my son, played with him on numerous occasions and wanted to do something in Sam's memory. Layton and Sam shared the love for basketball. In memory of Sam and to help Sam's family, who do not have the means to give him a proper burial, we've established this GoFundMe page.
