HELP GET MULINDWA MOSES TO #COP27

Hello,

My name is Mulindwa Moses, I’m an environmental and human rights defender from Uganda.

I’m a cofounder of a Youth-Led non profit Organization called CYE BELIEVE NETWORK in Uganda- which aims at creating climate resilient societies and empowering youths.

I have done a lot of work in advocacy— lobbying for sustainable policies and laws, lobbying delegates on different international events to build support for young people, and COP27 is an imperative negotiation platform to keep up this work.

For the past 6 years that I have been in the climate movement, I have done a lot of successful projects promoting climate justice, and others are in progress… so this would also give me a great opportunity to collaborate with the right people around the globe and give the projects in progress a big push which will help my community immensely.

On Thursday (3rd, November, 2022) an organization that had promised to fund my travel expenses and accommodation reached out to me, and said they won’t be able to fund me— because their resources allocated for COP27 are done. So that why I’m starting this fundraiser this late.

I was supposed to leave for Egypt on 6th, November because I have a two weeks badge, but because of the inconveniences it seems impossible. However, I’m kindly asking for your support to get me to COP27 as early as possible. Thank you very much.
