Help Get Gabriel Back in School

Donation protected
This is Gabriel. From Gabriel's mom:

"Gabriel requires a school designed for students that learn differently. Gabriel is 17 years old; he learned to read a year ago at age 16 due to a vision disorder known as Vertical Phoria. For years we did not understand why Gabriel could not read. After neuropsychological tests, tutors, and different schools, an eye specialist diagnosed Gabriel with Vertical Phoria. Gabriel went to vision therapy, continued with his tutor, applied to become a student at Hill School and was accepted. Hill School was the answer for Gabriel. Gabriel went from not reading to reading and writing books reports and doing algebra.

Gabriel also has Sickle Cell Anemia, a painful blood disease. Despite his challenges with Sickle Cell Anemia and a vision disorder, Gabriel has managed to succeed in school. His grades were remarkable for a person who had only been reading a year. Gabriel is also very athletic; if he can go back to school, he would like to participate on the track team.

Gabriel has two brothers at home, Christian and Joshua. Christian has chronic Sickle Cell Anemia and a neurological disease and is on oral chemotherapy. Joshua is 21 years old and has a neurological disease, making it difficult for him to walk. Gabriel is always there for his brothers, helping with whatever they may need.

Everyone knows that they can depend on Gabriel, from repairing bikes for people in the neighborhood to caring for their pets when they are out of town. He also volunteers for the MS Bike Ride. He has competed in karate tournaments and been on the swim team. Gabriel wants to attend TCU when he graduates from high school to become a veterinarian.

I am honored to be called Gabriel's mom and blessed to have him as a son. If I had to describe Gabriel, I would say "Gabriel has the Spirit of a Lamb and the Strength and Courage of a Lion."

We would be grateful for any financial assistance that you can provide toward Gabriel's tuition. "

Gabriel's mom and stepfather have been working hard to pay Gabriel's tuition as well as the medical bills for him and his two brothers. Gabriel wants to continue his education at Hill School but is not able to attend until his tuition is paid. The family currently owes the school $4,000. Please help us help this sweet family and give Gabriel the education he deserves.
