Help Gerri care for her animals

Many of you already know that Gerri has been battling cancer for about a year. Things are not looking hopeful anymore as they have stopped all treatments and have brought in hospice care.
We are heartbroken at the thought of losing our teacher, our mentor and our friend.  We are trying to help her in any way we can to lessen her worries.
Gerri has dedicated her life to her animals, especially her horses, but she has had other pets as well. Rio, her Blue macaw, is very special to her and she wants us to find him a great place to live when she cant care for him anymore, a place he can have room to fly, be with other birds and receive proper veterinary care. That place exists! 
The Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary near Tampa Florida offers everything Gerri would like for Rio. 
However, Parrots can live to be 85 in captivity and due to the cost of running a place that offers this high level of care, there is a mandatory donation (fee) for surrendering your bird. 
Many of you have asked what you can do to help Gerri, this is a meaningful thing we can do to help give her peace of mind.
