Help Gauge BTHO Cancer!!

Donation protected
We know that everyone may not be in a place to give and completely understand.  We are so very thankful and blessed to have such a good support system of family and friends who have helped us through the toughest time of our lives and are praying for our baby. We love each and every one of y'all.

About Gauge:
In May of 2019, Gauge took a turn for the worst. We started noticing changes in his breathing (snoring, coughing, vomiting, gasping, wheezing, constant panting). The vets told us it was related to his heart worms which he would start treatment for on June 1st.
On Wednesday, June 17th, We received the worst news imaginable- he was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, which is a very locally invasive cancer. He just turned 6 years old!! We took Gauge to the Sugarland ER where they did X-rays, CT scans, aspirated the mass, and did a biopsy. The tumor is located on top of his throat and measures 5 inches by 2 inches, which is HUGE. It has almost completely closed off his airway and esophagus. He has an extremely difficult time sleeping, eating, and breathing. The tumor itself blocks more than 80% of his airway. They also told us surgery was not an option for him due to the location and size of his tumor. We were devastated to say the least. They told us the best treatment option would be radiation to shrink the tumor. Doctors told us to give him all the cheeseburgers he wanted because they didn't think he had much longer, but we refused and still refuse to give up on him. I called Texas A&M Small Hospital in College Station where they were able to get Gauge in the very next day and he is scheduled to start radiation on Monday, August 12th!!!! WHOOOP!! All together we have bills adding up to a little over $13,000 in the past 3 months alone for diagnostics, testing, hospitalizations, and the radiation treatment (20 treatments in 4 weeks).
