Help Gabe get stable housing

Last week, I met Gabe when I was driving in Greensboro and saw him on the street with a sign asking for help to find food and housing.


We connected, and through some mutual aid from sharing his story online, he was able to get a hotel for a couple nights. But Gabe needs stable housing and there are few resources available in Greensboro with most shelters being at capacity every night. 

From Gabe: 
"I'm 20 years old my name is Gabriel Brown and I have been struggling to find a stable place to stay. I panhandle because it is hard for me to keep a stable job because it is hard for me to learn new things I struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts."

Gabe has found a room for rent, but needs help raising money to cover his expenses as he is still navigating disability benefits and trying to look for work. He is also supporting his girlfriend who has medical needs.

Let's help Gabe and his girlfriend by giving them the resources to sustain their basic needs.

Medical expenses - $100/mo
Phone - $80/mo
Car registration - $150
Car insurance - $60/mo
Gas - $100/mo
