Help Gabby Smile Again

Spende geschützt
On Thursday, September 8th our Gabby was in an accident on her way home. She got a ride on a stand up scooter that seemed innocent enough but even something as simple as a toy can be dangerous unfortunately. After hitting a bump, she was flown off and went unconscious. She woke up in the ER at Elmhurst with multiple fractures on her face and after a little over a week stay and 12 hours of reconstructive face surgery, she is finally back home and healing well thankfully.

She still has a long road ahead of her with making sure her jaw stays aligned as she heals and at some point orthodontist repair will be necessary after losing multiple teeth.

Gabby was a big part of our new Sala Astoria family and for those who have had the pleasure of meeting her know what a friendly and wonderful person she is! She is very much missed by all of us and we are looking forward to having her back when she is able to return.

We are hoping with this go fund me page we can help raise money for Gabby to cover her medical bills and her continued facial and orthodontist work needed.

Gabby wanted us to share her message to make everyone aware that you should wear your helmet even when riding bikes and scooters. They can be just as dangerous as any other kind of motorized vehicle and now she is living proof of the danger they can cause.
Let’s help Gabby smile her beautiful smile again!
