Help furnish the new rescue centre

Hi. My name is Beccy. I’m a mum to Amelie who is a 12 year old beauty who loves animals and caring for them.

Ark animal rescue is based in Southampton. They will take in any animal that needs help. No questions asked. They specialise in reptiles and exotic species but have a whole wildlife section. They have recently moved to a bigger location and are in need of bigger enclosures and cages for their growing number of animals.

The rescue is not for profit and relies on volunteers and donations to survive. They supplement their funds by doing educational visits and parties.

Amelie has been volunteering for a few months now and caring for these animals has helped her through some dark days.

She wants to help give back to an organisation that has helped her and is doing such an amazing job for the animals in their care.

As a mother, watching your child struggle with life’s challenges is heartbreaking. Watching her come to life in the company of these animals has been a breath of fresh air and I’d love to help them make what they have at the moment even better.
