Help fund the Martin Binks student prize

Professor Martin Binks, cherished husband, father, grandfather, friend, colleague and university teacher died of heart failure in the early hours of Thursday 13th January. We miss him desperately and have set up this page as one way for family, friends, and everyone who knew Martin, to remember him.

 

We feel that a lasting and worthwhile tribute would be to establish a memorial fund to support an annual student award, the Martin Binks Entrepreneurship Prize, within the Nottingham University Business School. Martin had an impressive academic record and was Dean of the Business School for a number of years. As well as an innovator in the field of entrepreneurship research and practice he was an inspiring and committed educator.

This appeal is being organised by Cris Glazebrook, a close friend of Martin and his family and a Professor at the University of Nottingham.  

The funds are being transferred via Cris Glazebrook’s account into a University of Nottingham account  managed by the Campaign and Alumni Relations Office,
