Sour Candy is a heartfelt short film by a passionate group of Temple University seniors, embarking on our final project before graduation. As our last project at Temple University, we are pouring our hearts into making the production a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

The Story
In Sour Candy, we follow Josephine, a neglected young girl seeking comfort and companionship in an unlikely friend, Dusty, the monster under her bed. Josephine discovers resilience and joy through their bond as they transform her chaotic home into a space of hope. Together, they clean her room and spark her imagination, offering a glimmer of agency in the face of adversity.

With the film, we aim to:
- Build a community around the themes of resilience and imagination.
- Highlight the power of connection in overcoming challenges.
- Inspire audiences with Josephine and Dusty’s story, emphasizing hope and the potential for growth, healing, and agency.
