Pippa's Orthopedic surgery

Josh & I drove three hours to get Pippa and bring her into our family at eight weeks old, she was was the size of my palm and weighed barely 1kg. In the car coming home I told Pip that her father and I would love her unconditionally forever, and always protect her no matter what. Pip is one year old now and lives an awesome life, she's always with us, she comes with us for shopping trips, road trips, visiting friends and family and sleeps by our side each night, we are hardly apart. We love her, she is our best friend and she loves us too and she proves it.
On April 5th late at night Pippa was distraught, she was in pain, she couldn't stand or move, was tearful and crying out in pain. She hurt herself in a terrible accident. She jumped off our bed like she normally would and lost her balance and dislodged her right Patella, torn tendons and damaged her cruciate ligament. I raced her to the after hours vet who treated her and told me she will need orthopedic surgery and ligament corrective surgery as soon as possible. She described it as a trauma injury and it broke my heart.
Josh, myself and her Veterinarian have created a health plan to help her recover as soon as possible. Before her surgery we are doing the best we can to keep her happy and comfortable. We are undergoing a four week course of cartrophen injections which will prevent the onset of arthritis and increase cartilage lubrication. She is also receiving daily oral Loxicom to alleviate inflammation and pain. However even though she is receiving this treatment it is very evident she is still in a lot of pain, this is only a temporary fix, she will need the corrective orthopedic surgery as soon as possible.
Please help us raise the funds needed for little Pippa's surgery and pre-surgery treatment, not only will you be helping the most loving pooch, but you will be helping her very stressed and distraught mum & dad who cannot bare to see her this poorly and feel totally helpless.
