In March of 2019, we opened Mankato Pet Cremation, LLC. Our mission is to provide a local service for pet cremation, honor service animals, provide in-home euthanasia with a licensed veterinarian, and to provide pet send-off/closure options for pet owners. At this time we are fully operational, the business was funded by a local lender that believes in our mission. We are marketing to the community through radio ads, articles in local business magazines, in-person visits to encouraging veterinarian clinics to use our service and by handing out hundreds of business cards and brochures. Initially business looked promising, we completed 5 cremations within ten days of opening our door for family and friends. But now the real work of establishing ourselves in the community begins!
We are in need of immediate assists with making our loan payment of $800 a month (that covers the equipment payment and insurance). We are seeking assistance for the next 6 months, until the business is better established. The early months of operating a new business are proving difficult, we are in danger of closing before we even get a solid start! Please help support this important service for Mankato Minnesota and surrounding rural communities.
