Art project about melting glaciers

ghosting* Glacier ( ghosting here meaning create, compose, record, rewrite, communicate)
is a collaborative and interdiciplinary art project about the melting glaciers.
the project will result in a short film and original sound-score all composed, written, created and performed at/on/in/by the glacier.
the film will be premiere in January 2021.

In May 2020, we were able to go through with part I of our filming. This was solely because of help from all the donations we received, and we are eternally grateful. Now we are ready to go back to the glacier in just a week, to finish the last and elemental part of the film, documenting the physical changes of the glacier since just last May.
all funding we receive will go strictly to pay for expenses relating to the shoot at Jostedalen glacier in Norway, including technical equipment, payment of glacier-guide, travel expenses, and living costs for 4 days.
with this project we want to create awareness to the glaciers' essential and meaningful role in our eco-systems and as shapers of our landscapes.
we want to start a conversation about the human/nature relationship in a time of not just climate change but of tremendous uncertainty, and where developing our relationship to place, landscape and nature is becoming increasingly important.
