Help fund Daisy's surgery/reccovery
Donation protected
On Sunday March 25 my sister Lynn, hubby Edward and daughter went out to celebrate their daughters belated 28th birthday. While they were out their front door blew open and the dogs went running out. Unfortunately Lynn & Eddie live on the main road in Mt. Uniacke which is a very busy road. The 2 dogs were in the middle of the road and Daisy was struck and rolled under the truck. The lady who struck Daisy got out picked up Daisy and and put her in the truck and chased Duke home and put him in the house. The lady then took Daisy to emergency in Burnside. After xrays and tests they had delivered the news that she had a broken hip, pelvis and leg. They were originally told it would cost $5000 just for surgery. Draper Vet Services in Bedford said he would keep the price as close to $2000 that he could. He performed the surgery on Tuesday March 27. So far they have spent $1069 the first night in Emergency, $ 400 next day at their vet another$180 at emergency for Monday nights stay, $2400 For the surgery a deposit at emergency of $400 for her stay with them until she is strong enough to come home. So we don't know that final bill yet. Right now she is on the mend but still needs to stay in hospital until she is stronger. Lynn and Eddie have exhausted their savings and the money is coming to and end but the vet bills are still coming in. Please help with any donation you can afford to help them focus more on daisy and not on the financial part. Thank you so much for helping
