Parkinson’s Disease has negatively affected me from the very first years of my life to right now. The ripple effects of this disease are still evident in interactions with my close friends and family. I have had multiple grandparents on both sides of the family that have fought and unfortunately lost their lives to this horrible disease. One of the reasons Parkinson’s is hated by many worldwide is because it's ruthless. It’s a slow and unforgiving process, one that doesn’t strike all at once, but instead steals pieces of the person you love, little by little. You watch them change in ways that break your heart, grieving the losses even as they’re still beside you. With that being said, any donation would be much appreciated. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Parkinson’s Foundation, who organize extensive research on the disease and provide financial support to people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
