Help Fund Bill Bellman's Wildlife Rehabilitation

Hello!

My name is Sara and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Bill Bellman of Northrup Creek Wildlife Station.

Bill is a NYS Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator in Monroe County, New York. Bill has been rescuing animals for the past 16 years, he devotes every waking minute to helping any animal in need. He is the biggest animal lover I know and has dedicated his life to saving every animal that he can.

A wildlife rehabilitator treats and cares for sick, injured or orphaned wild animals with the goal of releasing healed animals back to their natural habitats in the wild. This is not only a time consuming task, but a very expensive one. There is a new phone call every single day about another animal needing his help and with each animal, comes another expense. Food, shelter, medication, vet bills and transportation are just some of the expenses that he pays for. Helping these animals are his passion and he is not someone to ask for help so I have decided to do it for him. Every penny spent on the animals comes out of his own pocket, there is no state funding for wildlife rehabilitation.

Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated and will help save the lives of many animals in need.
