Help Fund & Be A Part Of Community Day
On July 31st, we are having a community event called Community Day. Community Day is an event where the Mayor’s office, fire department, non-profits organizations, college organizations, local leaders, and small businesses come together to provide food, fun, entertainment, & resources for the community of Indianapolis.
The purpose of Community Day is to show the importance of unity, and that the community stands stronger together. The other main goal is to inspire and provide a positive outlet for the youth. The fire department will have their fire truck show for the youth. There will be games, activities, & a bounce house. There will also be a barbershop & cosmetology school there to provide free haircuts & a certificate for hairstyling at their permanent location.
Community Day will take place at Fervent Prayer Church from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and it is free for the community. There will be many non-profit organizations, school organizations, and businesses there; they will have activities, resources, and information at their booths.
Members of the community, local businesses, and non-profit organizations have been donating their time and services to make this possible. In order for us to make sure we have everything we need for Community Day and to make sure it is a success, we are asking for donations.
