HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS...BUT NOT FOR THE RESIDENTS OF ABACO...
On Sept 1, 2019, Hurricane Dorian, "the most powerful", prolonged, storm in Atlantic hurricane history, slammed the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas, utterly destroying everything in its path. According to statistics, Dorian destroyed more than 13,000 homes, leaving over 90% of the residents of Abaco displaced and STILL struggling for shelter.
Abaco residents desperately want to return home to the land they love, to rebuild. But due to the magnitude of the devastation, they can not do it alone...they urgently need our help.
Please join us in sending houses to the people of Abaco. Sending homes to Abaco will relieve the current shelter crisis and ignite hope for a bigger, better, brighter Abaco , Bahamas. These partially built, 3 bedroom homes, are made to be constructed on existing foundations, which in most cases is the only thing left.
*Funds raised through this effort will go directly to building, shipping, receiving, and constructing Dayna's iCare Foundation (DIF) Homes that will go to "REAL", identified "families with children", in Abaco, Bahamas. Dayna's iCare Foundation is 501(c)(3), non profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
