Help for Wood's Amputation

As many of you know, Wood's feet are getting worse and we are pursuing a better quality of life for him through amputation. This is an incredibly difficult decision to make and will be a significant life change for both of us. We can't do this alone. We have so appreciated the support and prayers from so many people. It has amazed us how many people God has put in our lives who are praying with us and are willing to be a support. As you can imagine, this is going to be a strain physically and emotionally, but also financially. We are working to prepare everything for this life change. 

The amputation has been scheduled for January 9th, 2018. Only about 5 months out! 

We need help raising money to help pay for our bills (especially since Wood will not be able to substitute teach during the time of the amputation and the healing process and I don't know how long I will have to be off to be there for the surgery and to help him when he is able to come home); we need to build a ramp for our house to be handicap accessible; Wood will need some things such as a shower chair, handles, wheelchair, crutches, etc. to be able to get around and adjust to everyday life. There are so many expenses that we are looking at with this and we can't do it ourselves. We definitely need some help. We are so appreciative of anything that anyone can help us with and also thankful for the prayers that are prayed on our behalf. This is not an easy journey and not something that we look forward to, but we are trusting that God will get us through this stage of life.
