My name is Amber Sue Huff. My husband Clint and I live in Austin. Clint's parents, Howard and Doris Huff are safe and alive after being hit by Hurricane Harvey. We thank God for this!!!
They live in a small community outside of Beaumont. After not hearing from them for over 24 hours. We have received word that they were rescued by the Coast Guard around midnight on Tuesday. When they left their home there was 4 feet of water inside. They lost everything they own. All cars, clothes, furniture...everything.
We are currently working on getting into Beaumont to bring them to safety.
We are raising money for the following:
Toiletries
Socks/undergarments
Clothes
Food
Gas
Water
Temporary shelter
Building supplies
Basically everything from hairbrushes to trash bags to spoons and bowls to a place to live while rebuilding their life.
