Help for the Hollingum Family

Earlier this week, Taya and Ryan Hollingum received the devastating and very unexpected news that a large tumor was found in their happy, sweet, and wild 2 year-old son, Caleb’s brain.

After being rushed to the IWK for more tests, Caleb will be undergoing a long and risky surgery to remove the golf ball-sized mass tomorrow, Thursday May 16th, at 8AM, which will take approximately 10 hours.

To make matters even more difficult, Taya is currently 40 weeks pregnant, ready to give birth to their third child any day.

The future beyond tomorrow is unknown, as Caleb will likely be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation once they can determine a full course of action post-surgery. The Hollingum family will therefore be spending unknown but likely very extended amount of time in Halifax at the IWK.
Their friends and family are asking for donations to help make this very difficult time just a little less stressful. A family that would do anything for anyone, it is time for us to pull together and help them. Any amount helps, but if you are unable to donate, we are humbly asking for your prayers and shares.
