Last July changed our lives forever. A car accident. Mikkee was in a coma, shattered both legs, broken neck and back. Spending most of the year in the hospital. The doctors were able to save his leg after numerous surgeries but can't seem to get a handle on the infection. Which has spread. Bones, lungs and intestine all have been affected. Pneumonia and depression. The recovery time seems to continue to be pushed out as the surgeries continue. As most of our friends/family already know, our family has had significant year. As much as I resisted this, the truth is our family needs help. Mik's injuries are extensive. We have been faced with the possibility of having to split up the family. While Mikkee continues to fight in the hospital. Making a hard situation even harder. Creating this account was not easy for us.
