Help for Tao’s recovery

Can you help our girl Tao?

One of my dogs Tao hasn’t been well, she got sick from a tick bite early this summer! She has a tick-borne disease called anaplasmosis and it’s affecting her kidneys.

We have been doing tests with our vet every or every other week since June! She also had a 30 day antibiotic treatment for anaplasmosis. Her kidneys are still in bad shape and this disease caused her also high blood pressure! She’s on a blood pressure medication now.

Since June her vet and medication bills have been around 3,000 euros and she is still sick! We have to keep going to the vet and do all the necessary tests to keep her well!

She is a former street dog from Thailand. I adopted her when she was about 1 year old. She’s having her 7th birthday on December 1st. I love her so much!

The rest of my rescue pack includes 4 more members; my oldest dog Rubita (I rescued her 15 years ago), Valentino 11 and half years old, Thai-Son from Thailand, he is totally blind since young, and a 11 years old rescue cat.

She is not in any pain! She’s on a strict renal diet but she has a poor appetite because of the sickness, so I have to buy her the most expensive food, so she’ll eat.

It’s been a very hard summer emotionally and financially!
