Help Sky! Our T1D fighter!

Sky is our 11 year old Type 1 daughter.  She has had a very difficult year since her diagnosis on 10/30/17.  We went in for her annual eye exam in August and found out she has cataracts in both eyes.  She has to have surgery and she will be put under anesthesia.  They must do the surgery one eye at a time with at least 2 weeks between each surgery.  Due to her age and the approach needed to achieve the removal of the cataracts and inserting of the new artificial multifocal lens the majority of her surgery will not be covered.   We were given an out of pocket price of over $8,000 after insurance has paid their portion.  We have to come up with at least $4,197.96 before October 10th so that we can move forward with at least the first surgery which is scheduled October 17th, 2018.  The remaining balance will be due October 30th with her surgery being November 2nd.  So I am coming to all my family and friends and asking for help for my beautiful,  strong little girl.  Please if you can donate and share to allow us to provide her with the vision she deserves I would be forever grateful.   She did not ask for this diagnosis and did nothing to cause this.  The surgery is medically necessary so that my baby girl can see.  Thank you all for your time and consideration.
