Disabled veteran, Philip Webb and his wife, Betty, are on the brink of homelessness.
In 2014, the Webbs entered into a contract to purchase the mobile home where they currently live.
Unfortunately, they were scammed. The woman they believed was the owner of the mobile home, lied to them. She never transferred the title into the Webb's name, because she is not the only legal owner. After making their monthly payments and paying the taxes on the property for 6 years, and hiring an attorney to find this woman, they discovered she wasn't the sole owner and had no legal right to sell the home.
In early October of 2020, the woman showed-up on their door-step and demanded they vacate the premises by January 2021. She told the Webbs that her father is the legal owner and that they're out of luck.
Please, help them get back on their feet by donating what you can afford, to their mobile home fund. The mobile home will be gifted to the highest contributor via attorney prepared legal documents when they pass.
