Olá a todos e bem-vindos ao meu GoFundMe!

Decidi criar esta campanha para que possa obter alguma ajuda para os meus estudos. Neste momento, o objetivo é angariar fundos para os 3 anos de licenciatura em audiovisuais. No entanto, antes de qualquer doação, aqui vai a minha história:

O meu nome é Rúben Pinho, tenho 21 anos e desde jovem costumava filmar e editar as férias da família e um telejornal que inventei com o nome "Minutos de Informação", com notícias sobre o que acontecia à minha família na altura. Esse era o meu hobbie!

Fui criado como Testemunha de Jeová e como tal, não encorajam os jovens a ir para a universidade e por causa desta visão fechada do mundo em que fui criado acabei por fazer escolhas que me dificultaram o caminho para prosseguir estudos. Perdi todos os meus amigos e pessoas próximas porque as Testemunhas de Jeová evitam as pessoas que abandonam a religião e discordam da doutrina. Fui simplesmente colocado à parte de todas as pessoas que conheci e cresci a minha vida inteira através de uma política de ostracismo. Assim que decidi sair, percebi logo que a universidade era a oportunidade certa para seguir o meu sonho e recomeçar a minha vida!

Tenho estado a trabalhar e a poupar algum dinheiro para me ajudar a pagar todas as despesas que virão no futuro!

O valor que estou a pedir corresponde a 697 euros de propinas por ano. A licenciatura terá a duração de 3 anos.

Não há problema se não puder doar ou se tiver outras campanhas mais queridas! Eu compreendo perfeitamente! Estou grato por ter lido a minha história até aqui!

Também queria partilhar convosco um vídeo que fiz com o meu telemóvel sobre a minha saída da religião e os sentimentos que tive de lidar como solidão, perda de rumo, tristeza, etc que reflete o que muitos que se encontram em situações similares passam também.  No entanto, estou muito melhor agora quer fisicamente quer mentalmente!

Hello everyone and welcome to my GoFundMe!

I decided to create this campaign so that you can help me with my studies. At this moment the goal is to raise funds for the 3 years of tuition fees for my bachelor's degree. However, before any donation here goes my story:
My name is Rúben Pinho, I'm 21 years old and since young I used to film and edit family holidays and a news tv show about the things that happened with the family. That was my hobbie!
I was raised as a Jehovahs Witness and they dont encourage young ones to go to college and because of this closed view of the world it gets more difficult to apply to university. I lost all my friends and people close because Jehovahs Witnesses shun the people who leaves the religion. You are simply put apart from everyone you have ever met and people cant even say hello to you. Im trying now to start over my life and set back on track!

I've been working and saving some money to help me pay all the expenses that will come in the future!

The value I'm asking corresponds to 697 euros of tuition fees per year. The bachelor's degree will be 3 years.

All the donations are precious even the small ones! Its okay if you cant do it or have others priorities! I totally understand! Im grateful you read my story till this far!

Also I wanted to share with you a video I made with my phone about my leaving of my parents religion and the feel of loliness and lostness I went through! Im much better now fisically and mentally though! Thank so much in advance! Have a nice day!
