Hola a todos. Mis hermanas y yo hemos decidido recaudar fondos para nuestra madre Dona Olga quien recientemente sobrevivio la pandemia que nos esta afectando a todos mundialmente, el COVID-19. Mi madre quienes muchos conocen como Doña Olga, está ingresada desde el 27 de Marzo del corriente año en la clinica Cedimat de la Republica Dominicana, llegó a tener todas las complicaciones de dicha enfermedad, poniendo su vida en alto riesgo por su cuadro de salud y su edad, hasta hace unos días que salió de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, donde duro 11 días con un coma inducido y entubada ya que sus pulmones no estaban llegando al nivel de oxigeno necesitado, le estan haciendo otros estudios por un escape de sangre que tiene, pero esperamos que muy pronto este lista para ser dada de alta y poder llevárnosla a nuestro hogar.
La factura en Cedimat hasta el 11 de Abril era de RD$1,098.237.89,(alrededor de US$28,000) de los cuales su compañía aseguradora cubrirá solamente el monto de RD$500,000.00 ( alrededor de US$13,000), quedando un balance pendiente de RD$598,237.89 (alrededor de US$14,000), monto exageradamente elevado para nosotros poder cubrir sin su ayuda. Los medicamentos utilizados y las analíticas por dicha enfermedad son muy altos y por ello solicitamos su ayuda en la medida de lo posible. (Anexo foto de monto a pagar en la clinica Cedimat).
Sabemos que en estos momentos muchos necesitan ayuda y con la situacion como esta, es muy dificil donar, pero cada dolar cuenta y sera grandemente agradecido por nuestra familia. Nuestra hermosa madre aun sigue interna, y la cuenta sigue corriendo, queremos hacer todo lo posible por sacarla completamente sana lo mas pronto posible.

Hello everyone. My sisters and I have decided to raise funds for our mother Dona Olga, who recently survived the pandemic that is affecting us all worldwide every day, the COVID-19. My mother, known by many as Dona Olga, has been hospitalized since March 27 of the current year in Cedimat Hospital in the Dominican Republic. Our mother came to have all the complications of the viral disease, her life was at high risk due to her previous health conditions and her age. It was just a few days ago that she left the Intensive Care Unit, where she spent 11 days with an induced coma, intubated, disconnected from the whole world as her lungs were not reaching the right amount of oxygen needed for her to breathe on her own.
The invoice at Cedimat at april 11 went up to RD$1,098,237.89,(about US$28,000) of which my mother's insurance company will cover only the amount of RD$500,000.00 ( about US$13,000), leaving an outstanding balance of RD$598,237.89 (about US$14,000), a huge amount that we won't be able to cover without your help. The cost of the medicines, lung x-rays and tests to treat this viral disease is very high and that's why we are desperately asking for your help. (Attached is a photo of the outstanding amount to be paid at the Cedimat hospital).
We know that at the moment help is needed worldwide and each case is as important as ours. In a situation like this, it is very difficult for many to donate, but every dollar or peso counts and will be greatly appreciated by our family. Our beautiful mother is still hospitalized, and the bill keeps increasing every day, we want to do everything we can to get her home, finally healthy as soon as possible.
