Help for my dad after losing his wife

My dad just lost his wife my mother of 29 years to cancer. She fought a hard battle with everything in her for a year and a half but the cancer finally won. She’s no longer in pain or suffering but my dad is now left with a broken heart and all of the bills on his one income from SSI. He wants to desperately stay in their home but paying all of the bills on his own is going to be trying so this is just to get him started in the right direction until we can figure everything out and where to go from here. My mom was the rock in the family and held everything together so life without her isn’t going to be the same. Anything and everything is so greatly appreciated ❤️
