Help for Melanie (Melrose)

Donation protected
In November of 2017, Melanie's family started noticing some worrisome behaviors. Melanie was becoming confused easily, rhyming words that made little sense and losing chunks of time. They quickly took her to the doctor and found she was having seizures. Since that initial finding, it has been discovered that Melanie has a tumor in her brain. Her seizures have gotten increasingly worse and are now including full convulsions multiple times a day. She is medicated for them, which helps lessen the frequency and severity a bit, but the side effects of the medicine are scary. She is not her usual happy go lucky self at all.
The next steps are a pet scan and a meeting of the surgical board to discuss how to safely get this monster out of this sweet childs brain.
With so much unknown and Melanie being so medically fragile, her mom Trish can't leave her side. Trish is a single mother and has always worked to support her girls. It's truly incredible to watch her work 1-3 jobs at a time while still giving her girls the gift of a loving and present mother. I feel that in this time of need, she needs to be shown that her family, friends and community can and will come through for her and although she's a single mother, she is most certainly not alone in this fight for her daughter's life.
If you can donate please do. If you can't, please share and pray/send positive thoughts Melanie, Trish, and big sister Cameron's way.
