Help for Mark and Rose x

Hi, my names Mel and I’m fundraising for some pretty special people and animals I know.

sadly 8/9months ago my sister in law was made homeless through no fault of her own (landlord decided he wanted to sell the house) on her budget it was impossible to find another home and she fell into the hands of the council With 3 young children, x2 dogs and x2 cats she was desperate. She was put in emergency accommodation with 3 children, that consisted of one single room to share, no cooking facilities and very strict rules about no visitors or pets.she asked her old neighbours to care for her cats. There was no one to take the dogs and sadly one of the dogs was put to sleep as she was old, struggling with declining health and couldn’t cope with living in hotels etc. that left Rose, a young one year old Rottweiler needing a foster home.

my brother in law Mark offered to foster her as everyone was under the impression it would be a couple of months max. In the meantime the family were placed in temporarily housing in a different borough miles away !

Rose is doing really well with mark, she has been the perfect houseguest and lapping up all the attention as she is the number one with mark and rules the house! . (Deep down mark knows this hehe!)

Rose has now been with mark for more than 7 months now, the family are still homeless and understandably mark has fallen head over heels in love with Rose.

the family are still homeless with no end in sight with a heavy and reluctant heart , Vicky decided that Mark should be able to adopt rose as she is so settled and happy with mark. This is in no way a cruelty case, rose was and is very much loved by all parties she is also very much wanted, but she took the decision that she is acting in the best interest of Rose.

All she asked in return was the cost of Rose that my sister paid when they got her, which was £1000, so that when the family are settled they can get another dog to grow with their family. I’ve set up this page to help Mark get this money together as he has additional costs with getting her done and injections etc. and mark is not able to raise this amount of money.

Rosa has really landed on her feet, she has a strong/unique bond with mark and I know they are very happy together.

It’s very hard to loose EVERYTHING, and everyone’s mental health has been affected during this very difficult time #bekind
