Help For Lydia and Family

Hey, everyone!
For the last couple of days, my sweet niece, Lydia, has been in the ICU at Vanderbilt. Sunday, my sister rushed her to the ER, as she lost almost complete control of her left side, and started having trouble talking, as well as her eye on her left side turning inward. After putting her under to get an MRI, they discovered a lesion on the stem of her brain as well as lots of swelling. They have been giving her steroids in an attempt to lessen the swelling, but progress is very slow. They are working hard to find out what exactly it is, but haven’t ruled out cancer, or other terminal illnesses. Since the lesion is on the stem of her brain, everything is incredibly dangerous.
This was very sudden, and my sister is having to miss work to be there with my niece. With two kids, a house payment, and bills, missing work is going to put her family at the end of a very thin thread. With everything happening with my niece, I can’t imagine what is running through her head as a mother. I also can’t imagine worrying about that, while simultaneously worrying about if the bills are going to be paid. Not to mention to financial toll of the hospital stay, and whatever comes after.
I’m creating this go fund me to ask for help for her, my niece, and their family. Even 5 dollars helps. This is such a heartbreaking predicament for my family, but most importantly my sister, who is spending every hour worrying about her daughter. I don’t want her to have to be worrying about finances as well.
